Ed Alcock is a freelance photographer based in Paris, France.
He is the Europe-wide correspondent for UK newspaper The Guardian and regularly contributes to the The Independent.
This follows his being awarded the title of Best Photographer of the Year 1999 in competitions organized by both titles.
His award-winning portraits and reportage have also been published in
The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, The Observer,
The Independent on Sunday, Libération, Time Out, Mixer, The British Journal of Photography and Restaurant magazine.
His native language is English and he speaks fluent French.
